Step 1: In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth, then whisk in the oil, honey, egg, and vanilla until fully combined.
Step 2: Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir the leaveners into the flour to avoid clumps of them throughout the batter. Then, use a rubber spatula to fold all of the dry ingredients into the batter until just combined. Lastly, fold in the chocolate.
Step 3: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until golden on top and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 4: Allow the banana bread to cool for a few minutes in the pan, then remove to cool completely on a wire rack.
