Trader Joe’s Double Chocolate Wafer Cookies Review
He says (Mark): If my grandmother had these on hand instead of the plain, standard thickness, vanilla ones, I would have eaten a lot more cookies! What a great concept – DOUBLE the taste and thickness. These are great with milk, coffee, by themselves, or as an ice cream topping. A new twist on an old favorite makes for a winner!
Overall rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
She says (Bridget): Comparing these to the uninspired-looking but surprisingly tasty vanilla wafer cookies from my childhood, I like the original better. I like the idea of these but only got a little hazelnut flavor. In fact, it was hard to tell there was any sort of filling between the layers. Did I still eat a few servings of them, though? You betcha.
